The theme of this fall's concert is "Dona nobis pacem"--Latin for "grant us peace." The program will feature various settings of that text, from long ago through today, along with other musical works based on the concept of "peace." And, boy, we sure need peace right now!
I haven't settled on all of the repertoire yet, but I can assure you that a program of music based on "peace" isn't at all sleepy and peaceful. There's some lively and fun stuff on the program!
